As I now have off white on the sewing machine and overlocker I decided to rework the StyleArc Melody tunic I made in September last year.
It was too big and the sleeves were too long.
Today I used the front back and sleeves from New Look 6677 as rough guides to cut the front, back and shoulder down a bit (about 2cm). The sleeve heads and armholes were a different shape so I didn't mess with that, keeping the shape from StyleArc but making the shirt narrower and the shoulder less dropped.
For the sleeve I just used the New Look 6677 for length (about 9cm as I'd really messed up with the first sleeve, adding too much!), and recut the sleeve head using the StyleArc sleeve.
Stitched back up and whilst still a relaxed fit is a bit closer to my size!
Note: next time do a one inch high round back alteration within the back yoke piece.
